CAST-ing Off

I can't believe that the three weeks since Ava's surgery are already over! She gets her cast removed tomorrow and we all can't wait. She has been so patient and good with it...despite the frequent bonks on the head and whacks in the face with her huge, pink, heavy cast. I'm so excited to see her new thumb, and not have to cut off all of her sleeves, and finally give her a REAL bath again! (The cast is so stinky.)

By the way--Happy 5th Brithday Boston!! We couldn't imagine our family without your sweet smile and funny personality-you have the best facial expressions and a forgiving, honest heart.
And I almost forgot--hooray Max... you got your braces off! Let's pull out the caramels!
Lastly, here's a little dose of laughter: Boston and I were talking about Satan the other day while driving in the car because we had just read about him tempting Jesus in the wilderness. Boston was telling me all he knew about Satan like, he did bad things, and tempted Jesus to jump off a building. Then he said, "Mom... sometimes Ashton is like Satan."
And one from Olivia: I was helping her print something and my printer was acting up. I worked on it for about 15 minutes and Olivia could tell how frustrating it was. She was sweet and kept thanking me. Then she said: "Printers are a lot of work aren't they mom. It's almost like having another baby!"
